Vintage vase by Kyyrölä's potter Theodor Uschanoff

Made in Hämeenlinna Finland in the late 1940s, this vase represents the traditional craftsmanship of Kyyrölä, a historic area in the Karelian Isthmus.

The vase is made of glazed red earthenware.

Height: 15 cm
Diameter at the widest point: approximately 9.5 cm
Weight: 555 g

The side bears a stamped mark with the initials "T U". Beneath it is an illegible inscription, presumably "Hämeenlinna."

The vase has some chips/dents in the glaze and ingrained surface dirt.
